Official Drawing Rules: The Splendid Table Food Sustainability Survey

How to participate:
NO PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION NECESSARY. MAKING A PURCHASE OR CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING THIS DRAWING.

Entries for The Splendid Table® Food Sustainability giveaway must be made by submitting a completed survey by 11:59 pm CT, November 14, 2007. A completed survey results in one chance to win the The Splendid Table® Food Sustainability giveaway. Entries must be made via the online survey. Limit one entry per person. Multiple entries or attempted entries outside the online The Splendid Table® Food Sustainability giveaway, if discovered, will be disqualified.

Feedback from The Splendid Table® Food Sustainability entries will be to be used to inform The Splendid Table® about food trends, to share results for fun and information, and to improve upcoming shows.

Eligibility:
Anyone can enter The Splendid Table® Food Sustainability giveaway except persons who on or after February 1, 2007, were or are employees of American Public Media Group, American Public Media, or its related organizations, their immediate family, or persons living in the same household. The drawing is open to any United States resident age 13 or older. One (1) winner per household. Void where prohibited by law.

Drawing Prize:
Forty (40) individual winners will be drawn at random from all eligible entries. Each winner will receive one copy of The Art of Simple Food: Notes, Lessons, and Recipes from a Delicious Revolution by Alice Waters. (Published by Clarkson Potter, 2007) Retail value is $35.00. Prize is non-transferable, and not good for cash or exchangeable for other merchandise. The prize will be shipped to the winner.

Drawing and notification of winners:
Every eligible submission will be included in the drawing. Winner will be drawn on Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Winners will be notified by the e-mail or phone number given in the survey. If American Public Media is unable to reach the winner or the winner is unable to accept the prize within three (3) business days, then the unawarded prize(s) will go to the first back-up and subsequent backups thereof until the prize is awarded. The rules detailing eligibility and method of selecting winners are on file at American Public Media. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries.

General:
Participants agree to the Official Rules, and that American Public Media Group, American Public Radio Media, and related organizations, and their agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the contest. Participants also agree to grant American Public Media Group, American Public Radio Media, and related organizations the right to use their name, image, or other likeness without further compensation for advertising, fundraising, or promotional purposes. Taxes and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner. All The Splendid Table® Food Sustainability feedback becomes the property of American Public Media.
