Loco Soda Frustrated with a seemingly unquenchable thirst during a summer heat wave, the inventors of Loco Soda came up with the improbable combination of fresh citrus juices blended with freshly brewed chili pepper. It worked, the drink caught on with friends, and the rest, as they say, is history. Initially distributed from pedicabs and push-carts in the New York neighborhoods of Union Square, SoHo, and TriBeCa, the brew is now turning up in health food and gourmet shops around the country.
