Overlooked Bargain French White Wines

Joshua Wesson of Best Cellars wants us to try some excellent but overlooked bargain-priced French white wines that are perfect for spring and summer sipping. Here are a few to look for:
Pinot Blanc from Alsace: Produced from Pinot Blanc grapes, this wine resembling Chardonnay without the oak and considered by some to be the workhorse of the French wine industry, is consistently good. Buy only those three years and younger.
Muscadet from the Loire Valley: This light, steely, crisp and clean wine made from the Melon de Bourgogne grape and flavored by yeast cells is very underrated.
Entre Deux Mers from Bordeaux: The white wines from this district located between the Dordogne and Garonne Rivers are made from combinations of Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle. Stony, steely, and minerally, these are refreshing wines for warm-weather sipping.
