Listen to this feature (How to listen)
Outside of Charleston, on the way to Folly Beach, you'll see a sign saying, "welcome to the end of America." When you get to the edge, be sure to stop at the Anchor Line on James Island. You'll be in for a treat. It's all about "seafood in the rough" at the Anchor Line. Sit at a picnic table in dappled sunshine overlooking a creek and feast on the most magnificent shrimp ever cooked! Whether fried or broiled, it's served with top-notch French fries, hush puppies and cole slaw. It doesn't get any better than this! The blue crab gumbo and Folly Creek oysters are wonderful, too.Anchor Line Restaurant
