If you happen to be driving in the area of the shipyards in Superior, Wisconsin (just across the border from Duluth, Minnesota) and happen on to the Anchor Bar, don't drive by. While it may look a bit rough from the outside, the Sterns say it's one of the best places they've been in years for atmosphere and good food. It's where local sailors and shipyard workers go for great hamburgers and excellent hand-cut fries for very little money. And the menu of beers, lagers, ales and porters is huge. If you're tempted by the Galley Burger, be forewarned: it's three 1/3-pound hamburger patties and 3 layers of cheese piled on a bun. The folks at the Anchor Bar call it meatloaf on a bun!
