Jonathan Byrd's Cafeteria in Greenwood, Indiana, claims to be "America's largest cafeteria." With at least 20 entrees everyday and an 88-foot-long serving line, they're probably right. It's all about comfort food here—pot pies, macaroni and cheese, roast turkey, and salads. And like any cafeteria worth it's salt, desserts are laid out at the head of the line.
On New Year's Eve the gospel fest is the place to be. For $25 it's all-you-can-eat (but not drink because they don't serve alcohol) buffet while listening to three gospel groups perform. Call 317-787-9770 for tickets.
