For terrific Italian food Jane and Michael head to Newton and Carminuccio's, where the pizza is an extraordinary combination of very thin crust and fresh "made-from-scratch" toppings. The Sterns say the Connecticut White Pie (thin crust, olive oil, seasonings, clams and a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese) is the best around.
