Pie at the Coffee Cup Cafe

When Jane and Michael set off on a pie-eating mission, they headed straight for Iowa where they discovered a gem in Sully. The Coffee Cup Cafe is the kind of place where pickup trucks are parked out front and the regulars keep their own coffee mugs hanging on hooks inside. They come here for the marvelous lard-crust pies, and there are always six to eight varieties from which to choose, including stellar fruit pies, cream pies, and pies topped with six inches of meringue. Michael dug right into a slice of cherry-berry.
