We are well aware of Jane and Michael Stern’s propensity to hang out in Vermont and mid-August is no exception. Look for them in Quechee - a quintessential Vermont village and home of the Simon Pearce glass-blowing complex – where they’ll likely be sampling the roasted sweet corn offered at The Greenmarket, a gigantic farm stand where the specialty is maple pepper, a combo of maple sugar and pepper for sprinkling over the hot buttered corn. If you prefer a bit more heat they also sell habanero maple pepper!
