Cuban Food in Miami

Jane and Michael Stern love Cuban food – they say, "the big flavors put this simple street food over the top" – and one of their favorite spots is Vigi’s Cuban Coffee Bar located just outside the rental car pick-up area at the Miami airport. Vigi’s is hard to miss – it’s pink! The wonderful Cuban fruit shakes are a favorite for Jane – she especially loves the "Guavabana" (a banana/guava concoction). The grilled Cuban sandwiches are a classic, and don’t miss the Yucca Fritters. Since you’ve just rented the car, feel free to toss the empties in the back seat!
