Feig's is Tucson's only combination kosher grocery store and deli. All the classics are offered here: chicken in a pot, chopped liver, matzo ball soup, knishes, gefilte fish, stuffed cabbage rolls, bagels hot from the oven and excellent bialys. But it was the corned beef sandwich that drew Jane and Michael here. One food authority claims it's the best in the country. Lots of warm, tender, juicy and mildly spiced meat is piled between two slices of marbled rye bread (unless you ask for pumpernickel or rye) and served with a half sour pickle on the side. You place your order at the counter in the back of the store and eat at one of the tables in the front.
