The Sterns had been hearing about the Frontier restaurant in Albuquerque for years and finally decided they had to go see for themselves what all the fuss is about. They went for the legendary cinnamon rolls—which are a foot across—but discovered the utterly fabulous breakfast burritos and green chile cheeseburgers as well. Open 24/7, the funky Frontier is a favorite student hangout full of John Wayne pictures, steer heads, and velvet paintings of stallions.
