Gargiulo's
February 8, 2003
Skip the freak shows at Coney Island and head to Gargiulo's for old-style classic Italian-American food. They've been serving traditional dishes like White Bolognese, Lobster Fra Diavolo, Baked Manicotti, and Veal Sorrento since 1907 in a setting that could be right out of a Martin Scorcese film. Don't be put off by the crystal chandeliers and tuxedo-clad waiters. The clientele is pure "relaxed American."
