When the Sterns pulled in to the Kozy Korner just as the sun was coming up, a lone cross-country bicyclist was waiting for the door to open.
Jane and Michael had heard about the pancakes at this eatery in the tiny town of Winnett, about 100 miles north of Billings. They weren't disappointed. A stack of fluffy plate-size cakes came with a side of excellent bone-in ham and conversation with locals.
A slice of the Kozy Korner's fruit or berry pie with great old-fashioned crust shouldn't be missed.
