The Sterns general rule is "never eat at a place called Mom's," unless it's Mom's Cafe in Salina, Utah. They've been visiting this dusty western town for 25 years and say the chicken fried steak at Mom's is still world-class and the scones—more like Indian Fry Bread than English-style—are wonderful.
