The Sterns say autumn is the time to go to New Mexico for the intoxicating aroma of roasting chiles wafting on the wind and, according to Jane, "the best refried beans in the world" at Nellie’s Café in Las Cruces. Michael loves the Green Chile Cheeseburger at Nellie’s it’s served with a whole roasted chile on top.
