This grand old establishment serves traditional roast Scottish beef and Yorkshire pudding from a silver trolley that's rolled tableside. The coarse-cut horseradish is stellar.
Sweetings

Sweetings is where Jane became an English double cream junkie. This 100-year-old fish and oyster house is noisy and crowded, but worth it just for the puddings: spotted dick, steamed syrup pudding, baked jam roll and bread-and-butter pudding.
