Mixed-Up Food at Primanti Brothers
November 6, 1999

Mixed-up food is a hit in Pittsburgh and the place to go for the quintessential mixed-up sandwich is where it was created Primanti Brothers, a joint on West 18th Street near the produce market. "Chipped-chopped" ham is piled inside Italian bread, along with cole slaw, tomatoes and hand-cut French fries! They open at 11:00 pm and close early in the afternoon just the place for night owls and swing-shift workers.
