Relais des Six Boules

When Jane and Michael Stern finally made it across the pond to France, instead of finding comfort at a brasserie or bistro they found it at Relais des Six Boules, a French version of the truck stop. There they dined on Couscous Royale, a simmering mix of root vegetables, lamb, merguez sausage, and chickpeas ladled over a steaming heap of couscous followed by a cheese plate for dessert.
