The Sterns' Pick for Steak

As one would expect, Jane and Michael Stern have found what they say is "some of the best steak in America" in a most unexpected location - Mississippi and Arkansas! They say go to Doe's Eat Place in Greenville, Mississippi or Little Rock, Arkansas where they serve only steak or Cajun- style sauteed scampi, along with fries and a salad dressed simply with lemon and olive oil. You select your own steak at Doe's and dine amidst very modest surroundings, but you won't be disappointed. Both locations are in "rough" neighborhoods, but Doe's provides security!
