Jane says the best apple pie she's ever eaten is at The Julian Pie Company, located on Highway 79 in Santa Ysabel, California. They do variations on the apple theme like apple-boysenberry and apple-rhubarb at this shop where the sign on the door says "begin smelling." Be sure to get some of the little pie crust snacks they sell, too. They're made from the leftover pie crust that they sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. You can mail order their pies, too.
